According to celebrity makeup artist Clarissa Luna, making a statement is especially important in 2025. âGlam is making a comeback,â says Luna, whose clients include Megan Fox, Jennifer Coolidge, and Mel B. âMore and more, Iâm getting requests from clients to raise the bar when it comes to makeup. âBlahâ is out. Women want to be seen.â
Too Faced global makeup artist Daniel Chinchilla agrees, adding that high shine and sparkle is going to be everywhere. Itâs also the easiest way to add extra flair to a look, which anyone can executeâno matter their skill level.
âShimmer is a huge 2025 trend, and I couldnât be happier about it,â he says. âIt was all over the runways and social media as well. Oh, and most importantly, Beyoncéâs makeup looks! Weâre having fun with makeup again, and I canât think of an easier way to quickly amplify your eye look. Anybody can do it. What I love about the shimmer trend is that you can apply a soft, subtle amount or really pack it on for a full glam look.â
