The NFL is wrapping up the 2024-25 season on Sunday evening as the Philadelphia Eagles face the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl 59. The game will kick off shortly after this article publishes, but we already have odds for next year’s Super Bowl 60.
Heading into Sunday’s game, the Baltimore Ravens are the slight favorite at FanDuel Sportsbook to win it all a year from now. They’re installed at +600 and followed by the Kansas City Chiefs at +650, the Philadelphia Eagles at +700, and the Buffalo Bills at +800. The New York Giants have the longest odds at +40000, with the Las Vegas Raiders next at +23000.
If you’re looking for some early value, the Washington Commanders, this year’s NFC runner-up, are installed at +2300. Those are the fifth best odds in the conference, behind the Eagles, Detroit Lions (+950), San Francisco 49ers (+1500), and Green Bay Packers (+1900). If you think Jayden Daniels will regress in his second season, I could see passing on them. But if you think he’ll build on his rookie year and the team will do some big things with their currently sizable projection of $78 million in cap space, they could offer some real value.
Looking through Over The Cap’s ranking of projected 2025 salary cap space, after the Commanders, the most interesting team might be the Los Angeles Chargers (+3100). They’re currently projected to have $63 million in cap space. They have a lot of work to do, but coming off a playoff appearance in Jim Harbaugh’s first year as head coach, they could make some big moves in the coming offseason.
Every year some team comes out of nowhere to make a run at a playoff berth. If a team can get into the postseason tournament, they have a wide open opportunity to make a Super Bowl run. Looking through some of the longest of long shots, the Carolina Panthers (+22000) are kind of interesting. Bryce Young showed some life after looking like he would turn into an all-timer of a bust. If he can build off a solid return from benching, they become interesting in an always wide-open NFC South.
Here’s a look at the full list of Super Bowl 60 odds heading into kickoff of Super Bowl 59. We’ll provide an update after the game if we see any movement. The winner of tonight’s game could get a minor boost, but we shouldn’t see much movement otherwise.
