Monaco Grand Prix 2025: Full F1 coverage from SB Nation

The Formula 1 grid is headed back to the streets of Monte Carlo for the crown jewel of the season.

It is Monaco Grand Prix week, the biggest on the F1 schedule. Last year Charles Leclerc finally reached the top step of his home race, holding off Oscar Piastri over the duration of the race to take the checkered flag.

This year some new rules have arrived, as the sport’s governing body hopes to improve the racing “spectacle.” With overtaking coming at a premium on the narrow Monte Carlo streets — if at all — the FIA is mandating each driver execute two pit stops during the race. This includes using three sets of tires, and two different compounds if the race is run in dry conditions.

Will this increase overtaking and improve the race itself, or just up the chaos factor?

We’ll find that out in a few days, and SB Nation will have you covered every step of the way.
