The hotel boasts a long history, with the property being a part of the historic district since 1939. Architect Albert Anis created the hotel with the Art Deco style in mind, which makes it a unique staple of the area that still shines today.

Not only are those checking you in and greeting you knowledgeable and kind, but they are extremely helpful and full of knowledge about the property. When my close friend and I walked through the lobby doors, we were quickly greeted by a smiling employee, who handed us a glass of sparkling champagne, making sure we felt instantly welcome for our stay.
As you walk inside, you will be amazed by the hotel’s 50s-style décor. The building is not only an elegant one, but its interior will make everyone feel cozy and in awe of its classy aesthetic and well-thought out, plus perfectly curated, art pieces surrounding the lobby area. Each of its 70 rooms don’t just offer enough space where those who stay can be truly comfortable, but many of the rooms also treat visitors to ocean views.
Not only is the hotel located at a walking distance from restaurants, bars, and entertainment venues in Miami Beach, but it’s also located right in front of Lummus Park. This location is perfect for those who wish to start the day or end the day during sunset with a walk by the beach-adjacent park. For those who wish to enjoy the hotel’s amenities even more, we recommend a stop at the hotel’s Italian restaurant, Il Bolognese, with a menu full of comfort dishes and appetizers, as well as drinks. We had the chance to dig into the restaurant’s bruschetta and classic meatballs as appetizers. We were impressed with the cocktails, as we paired up our food with the restaurant’s classic mojito and tried out the mango mojito and sangria. Make sure to take a moment and try the restaurant’s food, and the drinks are the perfect classics that are perfectly refreshing for the beachy area. We recommend sitting outdoors on a nice day, a spot that’s perfect for people-watching and catching the ocean breeze.
Then, there’s the hotel rooftop and lobby bar. The rooftop is expansive, located on the hotel’s 6th floor, offering expansive views of the city and gorgeous beach views. Make sure to enjoy one of the inviting plush chairs on the rooftop with a book, a beverage, or your laptop if you need to catch up with the outside world.
