In fact, in her latest look, seen on the streets of New York, Bella Hadid brought back the boho coat that was a hit in the ‘70s and that we all wore in the 2000s, proving that she is one of the most nostalgic fashion trendsetters.
Eternally linked to music and the hippie movement, it is not difficult to find references to famous faces who have worn a garment similar to the one Hadid is now sporting, from the coats worn by Jimi Hendrix or David Bowie in the ’70s to Kate Hudson’s look in the role of groupie Penny Lane in Almost Famous (2000). And yes, the boho coat is a trend from the 70s, but made a comeback in the 2000s that helped define the style of the decade.
The slightly folky piece, with fur at the bottom and collar, is perfect for those days when we don’t want to give up a rounded look despite the low temperatures.
