Miami Marlins Open Highly-Anticipated 2024 Season on March 28

Hoping to build on a surprise playoff appearance in 2023, the Miami Marlins will kick off the 2024 season with a return to LoanDepot Park for Opening Weekend as they face the Pittsburgh Pirates on Thursday, March 28. Fans are invited to come out and support their team during Opening Weekend, featuring numerous promotions. The Marlins will give 2024 Magnet Schedules to the first 10,000 fans and rally towels to the first 30,000 fans as part of their 2024 fan giveaways.

The Marlins finished 84-78 in 2023, which clinched a playoff berth for the first time in 20 years in a non-COVID-shortened season. After losing to the Philadelphia Phillies in last year’s wild-card round, the team’s core players are returning, looking to capitalize on last year’s momentum. The team experienced a significant increase in attendance last season, with a nearly 30% rise from 2022. Skip Schumaker, the Marlins’ manager, was honored with the 2023 National League Manager of the Year award, adding to the team’s successful year. Additionally, Luis Arraez, the Marlins’ All-Star infielder, made history by becoming the first player to win the batting championship in consecutive years in different leagues.

The home opener will be followed by games on Friday at 7:10 p.m., Saturday at 4:10 p.m., and Sunday at 1:40 p.m. For special ticket pricing during the four-game homestand, visit Fevo-enterprise.com/group/Southflorida6.
