The Cincinnati Bengals enter Week 8 of the 2024 NFL season sitting at 3-4, needing a win against the visiting Philadelphia Eagles to get back to .500, and keep hopes of a playoff run alive.
However, they will face the Eagles without one of their standout wide receivers. The receiver was just listed as inactive for Sunday’s game against Philadelphia:
#Bengals WR Tee Higgins will be inactive today against the #Eagles.
Higgins pulled his quad running a route on air in practice Friday. He wanted to play today but just couldn’t do it physically.

Tee Higgins suffered a quad injury in practice on Friday, and was added to the injury report late in the week as “questionable” for today’s game against Philadelphia. According to the latest report from Bengals beat reporter Kelsey Conway, it “doesn’t look good” for Higgins to play today:
As it stands right now, it doesn’t look good for #Bengals WR Tee Higgins in his chance to play today vs. the Eagles after suffering a quad injury in practice on Friday, a source tells me. @Enquirer

According to NFL insider Jordan Schultz, Higgins faces an “uphill battle” to play against Philadelphia.
Higgins began the year sidelined with a hamstring injury, and was inactive to start the year, missing the first two games of the season. He returned to action in Week 3 against the Washington Commanders, catching three passes for 39 yards.
On the season Higgins has caught 29 passes for 341 yards and three touchdowns.
