These 4 Shades of Green Are Massively Trending for Spring and Summer 2025

Shades of green are trending in a big way right now. Could the color even dethrone black as the MVP of our closets? It’s well on its way, if the Spring/Summer 2025 collections are any indication.

The tone has started appeared on everything from must-have accessories to basic wardrobe essentials like pants and jackets. One reason for the hype might be the “Terra Futura” aesthetic, a trend predicted by Pinterest that combines environmental awareness with futuristic design.

Whatever the reason, there’s no doubt that this is the color to invest in when shopping this spring and summer.

These 4 shades of green are trendy for spring/summer 2025

There were four shades in particular that stood out to us on the runways. Here’s how to style them, where you can shop for the most beautiful pieces, and more.

1.Bottle Green

Just as chic as black but with a special twist: Bottle green is a sure bet for spring. The deep shade looks particularly sophisticated on classic pieces like a structured blazer or coat, as seen on the Acne Studios catwalk, or a leather handbag. It looks particularly good with denim or as a complementary color to your black basics.

2. Pistachio Green

Pistachio green is the soft shade most prevalent in the Spring-Summer 2025 collections. Miu Miu presented a pistachio green jacket that proved how easy it is to style with navy blues, khaki browns, and white. Think of it as an alternative to yellow, another trendy color this spring.

3.Olive Green

Research platform Tagwalk confirmed it last year: Olive green looks were omnipresent in the Fall/Winter 2024-2025 collections, and they’ll be sticking around as the weather heats up. Because the tone is so understated, the khaki-like color is best applied in trousers and jackets—like the cargo pants in Burberry’s most recent collection, for example.
