Trottola Lamps Stir Up Childhood Nostalgia of Spinning Tops

Czech lighting brand BROKIS is expanding its collection of modern fixtures, this time with an already award-winning family of lights called Trottola. Designed by Federico Peri, Trottola is inspired by childhood memories spinning tops, evident by the design’s silhouette. The new lighting series has already garnered recognition as one of Archiproducts Design Awards 2023 winners.

The light calmly glows through an opal diffuser and handblown opaline glass shaped like its namesake toy. A base made from pressure aluminum offers a visual contrast and along with a cable, joins the separate dimmer for the tabletop versions that control the brightness and light temperature. The innovative BROKIS connector allows the light to be disconnected and moved about where a warm diffused luminance is needed. Trottola is also available as a suspension light to cast playful shapes and shadows from above. All Trottola fixtures come in opaline transparent glass and pearl gray opaline glass.
