Now, with Ellis in the drivers seat, he should have no problem finding that special someone who’s ready to go the distance with him. According to ABC, Ellis is a “self-proclaimed mama’s boy,” and was a former professional basketball player overseas. “He is passionate about his career as a day trader, but when he’s not immersed in the fast-paced world of finance, you can find him cheering on the Lakers, hitting strikes at the bowling alley, or belting out tunes at karaoke nights. As the Bachelor, Ellis is eager to embark on a journey filled with romance, adventure, and genuine connection.”
Meanwhile, Tran’s season of The Bachelorette is still airing. And while we don’t know how it’ll end, we have been primed for a twist by Tran herself. In an interview with Glamour, the leading lady revealed, “The whole journey happened in a way that needed to happen, and I’m very happy with the way that things ended…It’s definitely an ending that I didn’t see coming for myself. My family won’t see it coming, and I don’t think the viewers will see it coming too. I’m excited for it all to unfold.” So are we.

Fans of the series also have the inaugural season of The Golden Bachelorette to look forward to, starring fan favorite Joan Vassos from The Golden Bachelor. The upcoming season of The Golden Bachelorette will expand to 90 minutes each week as opposed to one hour, and is also moving from Thursday nights to Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT, 7 p.m. CT on ABC, followed by new episodes of Abbott Elementary. It will stream the next day on Hulu.
Then, in 2025, Ellis’ season of The Bachelor will premiere (most likely in early January, as it will begin filming soon). The Bachelor is produced by Warner Bros. Unscripted Television in association with Warner Horizon. Claire Freeland, Bennett Graebner, Tim Warner and Peter Gust serve as executive producers.
